Kevin majored in Computer Science at Morehouse College and received his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from Georgia State University. While at Georgia State, he served as President of the Black Law Students Association, as an Associate Research Editor for the Georgia State Law Review and as Vice President of the Business & Law Society. Kevin was also a national champion as a member of Georgia State Law’s mock trial team.
As a native Atlantan, Kevin is committed to the underserved members of his community. He has served as a volunteer coach for the Grove Park Vikings 14 and under football team and as a pro bono attorney for the Truancy Intervention Project, the Georgia Justice Project’s Criminal Records Clinic and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
Kevin has served the Gate City Bar Association as an executive board member and co-chair of the Young Lawyers Division for each of the last two years. He is also a member of the National Black MBA Association, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia State University College of Law Alumni Council, and he is an attorney advisor for the Law Students Coalition for Civil Rights.
Prior to attending law school, Kevin was a Senior Sales Associate with an international business information company. He is married to Rae Ransom Coleman, and they live in Southwest Atlanta with their son, Kevin III.
